Creators of South Park, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, took the stage during Microsoft’s E3 press conference in buildup for the new South Park game, recently titled South Park: the Stick of Truth. They explained how they refused to do a South Park game, unless it looked like a South Park episode and Obsidian Entertainment (the developers) obliged willingly. The trailer below actually shows gameplay footage, but since both the cinematics and the gameplay has that authentic South Park look you kinda can’t tell. We also get a better look at some of the powers, enemies and summons the player will have at their disposal during combat, but as usually the humor rules all! The trailer portrays a feeling that can only be described as “Epic Humor,” as the game takes on a series tune, and then quickly devolves into the rude, unadulterated, potty mouthed humor that only South Park can bring. Check out the official announcement trailer below for South Park the Stick of Truth coming out in March of 2013!
