Playstation’s spiritual equivalent to Nintendo’s Super Smash Brothers Series, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale made an appearance at this year’s E3. Besides a live gameplay demo during Playstation’s Press Conference, the creators also revealed two new playable characters, Nathan Drake, protagonist of the Uncharted Series and the Big Daddy, from the BioShock series. During the trailer below we get a look at both these characters, PaRappa the Rapper and Sly Cooper duking it out in the Little Big Planet/Buzz level. During the fight we manage to get a glimpse at some of the two new fighters special abilities, which include Nathan hiding behind cover as he lets loose a hail of grenades and the Big Daddy submerging the entire level in water. One would think that Santa Monica Studios are trying to distance themselves as far away from Super Smash Brothers as they can, but let’s be honest: would it really be that bad if they didn't?
