On October 16th Irrational Games will once again take us into their crazy, dystopian, war torn world in BioShock Infinite but instead of diving in like we have before we may have to catch a flight for this one. Gone is the fabulous and often disturbing underwater city of Rapture, and in its place we have the equally fabulous and disturbing floating city of Columbia. You play a man known as Booker DeWitt, who is on a mission to navigate the extraordinary air-city in search and rescue of a young woman named Elizabeth, but who really cares? I know what you’re really here for: Mechanical monstrosities (the Heavy Hitters and an enormous mechanical bird), weird genetic super powers (now called Vigors and Nostrums), an insane, unwelcoming, violent population (the warring factions known as the Founders and the Vox Populi) and an enormous, historically-rich and completely mad environment where all is never what it seems.
